Description

I have noticed that DVD installed system from PCBSD10.0-RELEASE-p5-01-27-2014-x64-DVD-USB.iso gets lower patchset version (p4) after base system updates are installed. Several other people reported same observation:

  • Resolution set to 3rdpartybug

Its a cosmetic bug in the freebsd-update system. If you run the command "freebsd-version" it'll show the correct -p5.

I will be taking a look in the future if we can force this -pX number into the kernel.
