  • Owner set to kris
  • Priority changed from major to minor

You need to run the Boot Manager (in the PC-BSD Control Panel), then go to the "GRUB Configuration" tab and enter a custom GRUB menu entry for Windows like this:

menuentry 'Windows 8 (ada0s2)'{
set root=(hd0,2)
chainloader +1

If your windows installation has a separate boot partition like my Windows 7 system does, then you need to make sure that the entry is pointing to the proper boot partition and not the data partition.

I am re-assigning this to Kris and downgrading the priority to see if we can get Windows 8 autodetected in the future though.
