Description

In a recordMyDesktop menu, I can't use "Select Window" button...

It appears that you have to use the little preview box to set the window that you want to record instead of using the "select window" button.

If you uninstall the PBI and install the package via the package manager instead, does it still have the same behavior?

Yes, I can use "select window" button after reinstall that by package manager...*

OK, I think I finally found the problem.
It looks like there is an unlisted dependency on x11/xwininfo within the port/package. With a package install, xwininfo is usually pre-installed by default as a dependency of X11, so that is why it still works in that situation but not in the PBI.

I just added xwininfo to the PBI as well, and that should let the application probe the Xserver for selecting a window with that button.
