#1020 closed System Defect (fixed)

Screenlock does not work in LXDE/XFCE

Description

I selected LXDE and XFCE while OS installation. When I try to lock the screen after installation, it just blanks it.
It is because package xscreensaver is not installed. On which LXDE/XFCE depend.

A not so experienced user will think something else. So include xscreensaver as a default for the DEs(lxde/xfce) and WMs.

I'm using xscreensaver here with XFCE and it seems to work / lock just fine.

I had a single issue where one of the OpenGL screensavers would crash causing xscreensaver to crash as well. I changed it to a non-3d screensaver and it works fine now.

If you check start -> settings -> screensaver in XFCE does it bring up the config screen? Also, if it is not installed, do "pkg install xscreensaver"

Fixed it missing here:
