Hi nothing happened at all.

I try to make ibus running. Any text input area, right button show selection of imput methods. In the selections, looks like default is system (X Input Method), but to enable ibus, you have to choose to set ibus. It is troublesome but should work.

Where should I need to change ? If naybody knows, let me know.

Thanks

Is the XFCE keyboard service running by any chance? That could cause conflicts with IBUS use on the system if both are trying to control the system input methods. The other thing might be that you have the XFCE startup routine set to start IBUS instead of using the PC-BSD "Force IBUS" setting. The PC-BSD IBUS routine makes sure to setup the pinyin and japanese stuff as appropriate, but I am not sure the XFCE IBUS routine does that.

For PC-BSD systems, we always recommend setting the PC-BSD "Force IBUS" use through the system manager, and disabling all the DE-specific IBUS/keyboard daemons. This should result in the most consistent/correct use of alternate keyboard layouts on the system.
