Description
7.0 final release
Cannot reconfigure the settings, like DNS, after install as you cannot apply the settings. Save does not save the settings either. Reverts back to original installed settings. After trying to change the settings several times, the network manager will no longer start and nothing else seems to start. Restart of KDE required.

- Resolution set to invalid
- Status changed from new to closed
Correct, DHCP overrides any DNS settings specified in resolv.conf. We may need to update the GUI to warn the user about this in the future.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.

update:
DHCP mode doesn't allow dns change.
Moving it to static fixed the problem.
