Errors in Handling of KDE User Preferences and Plasma

Description
Changing of my Picture in the Systemadministration tool of KDE isn't
allowed without Administrator privileges. I cannot change my password
or my user preferences in the same windows on first try. Error:
-- STARTOFERROR --
An Error occured and your Passwort has probably not been changed. The
error Message was chpass [-d domain] [-h host] [-a list} -p encpass] [-s
shell [-e mmddyy] [user]
-- ENDOFERROR --
The default plasma workspace crash on closing. Error:
-- STARTOFERROR --
Plasma crashed and caused the Signal 6 (SIGABRT).
-- ENDOFERROR --
All this errors occured on my laptop and on my desktop PC. It looks like
hardware independent errors.

This seems to be fixed with recent updates to KDE. I can change both my password and picture now without a crash here in PC-BSD 7.1.
