Problem with Polish characters in default fonts

Description

After fresh install of 1.4RC with Polish language set, all texts are defected (on login screen, K Menu, window titles, desktop). Default fonts are missing some Polish characters. Both default Sans Serif and installed Bitstream Vera don't include these characters. DejaVu? font handles these characters, but its look is unacceptable.

What's worth noting, such problem does not appear in the installer.

Fixed it here, turns out its the bitstream-vera port which is causing the problem. Removing it seems to have solved the problem here, and I don't see any DejaVu? corruption as well now. I'll have this fixed for Tonight's ISO (Friday)
