Description
When I boot into live mode from the 8.0RC dvd, it seems not to be able to set the WLAN network-connection active.
More details:
When I go to systemsettings -> system network configuration, it tells me that it found a new device and if I want to activate it. I click on activate.
It shows my WLAN adapter (Intel Pro/Wireless? 3945 ABG) and I can configure it, scan for WLAN (I have to click rescan otherwise it doesn't find any network), and can configure network-access.
But it seems the device does not set itself active and thereore does not connect to a WLAN. The status is always "no carrier". Right-click on the device and choosing "Enable Device" or "Restart network" don't do anything.

Thanks for the fix!
Sure, I'll let you know. :)
Is there a way to test it already now with daily/weekly SVN build or something like that?

Give it a whirl with the official 8.0 now, if you still have problems, feel free to reopen with details :)

This should be corrected in SVN now, had some issues with the ethernet / wifi tools applying their settings properly. If you still run into the issue for 8.0-Release, please reopen :)
