248,Missing Network Settings in KDE Start Menu (KDE 4.3.5) on PCBSD 8.0 RC2,yuvaraj.name,,"I found the below instructions in the PC-BSD Users Handbook for configuring network interfaces for internet connectivity.

To start configuring your network interface, click the Start Menu in the lower-left corner (red ball) and click ""Settings → Internet & Network → Network Settings"".

After installing PC-BSD 8.0 RC2 amd64 on to my Thinkpad T61 laptop, under the ""Settings"" in the Start Menu, I can see only 3 menu items namely, ""GTK Styles and Fonts"", ""Menu Updating Tool"" and ""IBus Preferences"".

I could not see the menu items ""Internet & Network"" or ""Network Settings"" under the ""Settings"" in the Start Menu. I also tried searching for them, but could not find them anywhere.

Please resolve this issue and/or update the Users Handbook documentation if necessary so that Wireless/Wired Network Configuration can be done easily.",System Defect,closed,major,8.0,System Configuration,8.0-RC,fixed,documentation,trac-bugs@…
