Description
I get the following alert message whenever I log into my Thinkpad T61 laptop running on PCBSD 8.0 RC2 amd64.
Power Management
The profile "" has been selected, but it does not exist.
Please check your PowerDevil? configuration.

This is because the "powerd" daemon isn't enabled by default on PC-BSD 8.0. (It causes crashes / stability problems with some nvidia systems) This error is cosmetic in nature only though, just a warning. If you want to try enabling powerd, you can do so in /etc/rc.conf, just look for "powerd_enable".
Assuming the problems are fixed for FreeBSD 8.1, we'll enable it by default :)

I also get the same. I have 8.0-RC2 installed on a desktop not a laptop.
