creating encrypted root partition halts installer

Description

When / partition is set to be encrypted, the installer gives an error about it just after starting installation.

I think all these sure-to-be-errors should be checked and warned about before starting installation (so that they could be fixed), not let users to find them out the hard way. Even better, these invalid setups should not be possible to make.

This should be fixed in 8.1 now.
