Description
I've burned the image of FreeBSD 8.0-RELEASE-P2 on a DVD+RW.
When booting on my VAIO VGN-FW198U, it stops in:
"Checking for install image on: /dev/cd1
Unable to mount: /dev/cd1
Checking for install image on: /dev/cd2
Unable to mount: /dev/cd2
Checking for install image on: /dev/cd3
Unable to mount: /dev/cd3
...
And the same for acd0, acd1, acd2 and acd3
...
Error mounting install image
Available device are:
"
And so I can run the Live DVD which means I can't test it or install it.

Can you re-test this on 8.1-RC1 or 8.1-release? Most likely it was unable to find a CD/DVD drive, usually a driver issue.

- Resolution set to deferred
- Status changed from new to closed
Closing for now, please re-open if you still see this issue on 8.1

Let me just correct the last phrase. I meant to say "I can't run the Live DVD..."
