Description
In the boot menu, when I press "3" to "Boot in Live Mode" I get the following and then the system just hangs there.

BTX halted
This ONLY occurs on my laptop when I boot directly from the CD. If I boot via VirtualBox? it boots fine. Also, it works just fine on my Desktop (which is 9 years old by the way).
I had been a ditro hopper for a while but I never had experienced such a problme with ANY Linux based OS.

If you could post your motherboard model and bios version, maybe we'll find something.
I had same issue with exactly one PC, and this wasn't reproduceable on other PCs.
