Macbook Pro, I just inserted installation DVD and let it run, at first the modules are loaded, like  zfs.ko nullfs.ko opensolaris.ko zlib.ko etc. And loading looks like this:
1. the name module is displayed
2. the disc is slowing down
3. after a second it is speeding up
4. it is slowing down again (!)
5. repeat steps 3-4, 2 or 3 times
6. goto 1
