#330 closed System Defect (fixed)
Green tint on screen during installation

Description
When the installer loads the screen is tinted green and is difficult to read. The exception to this is the mouse pointer, which is white and not tinted. As I have troubles completing installation (see ticket #329) I am not sure if this tint will extend to the installed GUI. I have tested this system using OpenBSD and the colour is fine.

This error is probably coming from the xorg video driver. What are you using, ati / intel / nvidia?
Also, when the system first boots up, does the green tint exist there, or is it only when the gui loads that the tint shows up?

I'm using an ATI RADEON card, I didn't check the xorg of PC-BSD but xorg on other distros on my system are using radeon. Note that when I tried to install 8.0 the screen showed fine.

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
This should be fixed in 9.0-RELEASE. Reopen the ticket if it is not.

Went to command line to retrieve error log from installation (for a third problem), and noticed that the green tint extends here as well.
