Description
Possibly, setting hw.pci.do_power_nodriver=2 (or even 3) in loader.conf will do no harm, while offer some power savings. But, I can't guarantee that it doesn't break anything, so it has to be tested well. Found here http://wiki.freebsd.org/TuningPowerConsumption. I've used it for some time, and it seems that all works, but haven't done thorough tests, so I'm a bit unsure about it.

Maybe post this to the forums and get more feedback from users that it doesn't break anything. For the moment I'm not going to auto-enable it, since it may cause issues we don't know about yet.
