Description
Hi,
I'm running VirtualBox? OSE 4.18 with Slackware 13.37 x86 as the Host using PC-BSD 9.0 as a Guest and I've noticed, not only for myself, but I've also seen this problem with other users, that the Auto-resize is not working.
Fullscreen appears to work ok, but if I want to run the window in a maximized size so I can see my host, then I try to use the auto-resize it doesn't do anything and the window appears to tall and wide, because I noticed the scrollbars in the VirtualBox? window and the taskbar at the bottom for LXDE does not appear.
Here's a screen shot showing the window in a maximized size with the taskbar cut off.
Also if I start PC-BSD for the first time the window seems to resize, because in the screen shot you'll not see any scrollbars, which indicates that something with the auto-resize seems to be working to a point, but if you then try to resize the window then you'll get the scrollbars and click the auto-resize nothing happens.
The taskbar that you see at the bottom of the VirtualBox? window is my host.
I've attached the VB Log...
THANKS

This is actually a bug in the guest additions.
