Description
this is my first bug report so please be considerate if I didn't do it right,
in the gnome D.E. when entering screen saver settings from gnome panel menu >system >preferences you get the X screen saver instead of the gnome one which is the actual running one, thus for example if you like to set the time for the computer to enter screen saver or stop it from locking when in screen saver mode - you just unable to do so.
The real screen saver can be reached by going into: /usr/local/bin/gnome-screensaver-preferences

It looks like we can't remove that xscreensaver entry from the Gnome menu panel, but I did just add an entry into the PC-BSD control panel for gnome-screensaver-preferences. At least now it should be easier to set the screensaver properly in the Gnome desktop.
