AppCafe not working behind proxy.

When attempting to run the AppCafe? application, I receive the error
"Missing meta-files for RepoID: 001. This is normally due to the internet connection being offline or mis-configured."
even after configuring the proxy through the PCBSD Control Panel under Network Configuration.
My /usr/local/etc/pcbsd.conf file contains the following:
# PC-BSD Configuration Defaults # Default PC-BSD Mirror for System Updates / Meta-Pkgs PCBSD_MIRROR: ftp://mirrors.isc.org/pub/pcbsd PCBSD_PROXYURL: http://wall.ad.selinc.com PCBSD_PROXYTYPE: HTTP PCBSD_PROXYPORT: 8080
This has been fixed in version 9.1

Oh, I also tried setting the environment variables and running the command "appcafe" from the command line. No good.
