I restore my desktop from a backup and all my icon graphics are missing.  That is to say, the applications, which are installed, (ie firefox, k3b, umplayer, etc) have their application name there and I can click on the button and the app comes up, however, each application's graphic for the icon is missing. ???

Is there a way to re-generate which database is keeping track of the icon graphics?
