Nvidia driver not working since 1.4.1, 1.4.1.1 on GF8800GTS

Description

I can no longer use a 3d nvidia driver with PC-BSD since 1.4.1 was released. 1.4.o worked fine.

I boot and get to the res/driver selection system but none of the Nvidia 3D drivers work.

I am forced to use nv...

According to Nvidia, there is a new version of their driver. Updating the driver on the system could fix my issue.

Maybe a system update as in order?

We are currently using 169.12 on 1.5.x, does this driver work properly again? If not, then you should probably let NVIDIA know about it, since the driver is closed-source, and we can't fix a bug directly here :(
