#859 closed System Defect (3rdpartybug)

Xfce Font not changed by the Appearance Fonts

Reported by: hsw Owned by: ken
Priority: trivial Milestone:
Component: System Configuration Version: 10-STABLE
Keywords: Cc: trac-bugs@…

The Xfce menu/taskbar font cannot be changed using the Settings-manager - Appearance - Fonts tab.

I Checked that neither logout/login nor reboot causes this font to updated.

The font for window title changes immediately its OK button is clicked, which would imply that the font system is actually working.

I just installed Chromium PBI, and saw that the location bar was using the font I had left
in the appearance.

Changing the font would affect Chromium location bar immediately. I just will not change the Xfce menu or task bar.

This sounds like a big in the XFCE systems itself, rather than PC-BSD. I would recommend that you ask either the FreeBSD port maintainer[1] or the XFCE developers themselves if this is a known issue.
