#274 closed Feature Request (fixed)

Automount of NTFS filesystems from /etc/fstab

Reported by: Goette Owned by:
Priority: major Milestone: 8.1
Component: System Tool Version: 8.0
Keywords: Cc: trac-bugs@…

As I could check, a NTFS filesystem cannot be mounted from /etc/fstab because the system forces to mount it via 'mount_ntfs' command instead of 'mount -t ntfs', that is how linux does and is better.

Putting properly formatted entry into /etc/fstab allowing mounting of ntfs partitions just fine on 8.1. If you still see problems, please post the line you are trying to use.
